Uzbekistan is one of the ten world leaders in tourism

Uzbekistan is among the top ten world - leading countries in terms of tourism and the number of historical and cultural monuments, of which there are more than 4 thousand. Part of them is included in the world heritage list of UNESCO.

In 2013-2015 in the region envisages the implementation of the 44 projects worth 27.5 million on construction and renovation of hotels, restaurants and other tourist infrastructure. This year, 35 of them must be completed.

There are 255 archaeological and cultural monuments, some of them are listed in the list of historical sites under UNESCO protection. Noteworthy is also working on the restoration and improvement of these objects of historical-cultural heritage. Currently, 39 objects of cultural heritage, work on the repair and restoration of 15.6 billion sums.

In the region there are dozens of artisan manufacturing of Souvenirs, national service, ceramic, copper and wooden ware, national ornaments, which are in great demand among tourists.
