MFA of Uzbekistan marked dynamic of Uzbek-Turkish relations

On November 27, 2014 located in Ankara the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Ali Kemal Aydin.

In the seventh round of political consultations between the MFA of Uzbekistan and Turkey, the sides discussed the state and prospects of bilateral relations in the political, economic, trade, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as cooperation in the UN and other international organizations.

The dynamic of the Uzbek-Turkish dialogue based on mutual interest progressively develop mutually beneficial relations was highly appreciated, according to the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan.

Turkey is one of the largest trade partners of Uzbekistan. The mutual trade turnover between the two countries since 2000 has increased 7 times and in 2013 exceeded 1.346 billion US dollars. The positive trend is noticed in the current year.

The sides reviewed the schedule and the preparations for the upcoming bilateral contacts and also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
