The representative of Uzbekistan won the competition «Competizione Dell'opera»

The Palace of Arts "Turkistan" in Tashkent hosted a ceremony awarding the winners of the XIV International Competition of Italian opera «Competizione dell'Opera».

More than 60 contestants from Uzbekistan, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Japan, Belarus, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, South Africa and other countries for several days performed the best examples of Italian opera in the original language.

According to UzA, the winners in the final were defined by secret ballot of the members of the international jury.

According to the results of the contest «Competizione dell'Opera» our singer Barno Ismatullaeva was awarded with first place. The singer from Belarus Pavel Pyatro was awarded with the second place. The third place was shared by the representatives of Russia Maria Bayankina and Uzbekistan Djabrail Idrisov.

On November 29 a gala concert of the finalists will be held at the Palace of International Forums "Uzbekistan".
