Tashkent is one of the most popular cities among Russian tourists

The capital of Uzbekistan entered the top ten of popular cities in CIS for traveling of Russians on November holidays.

According to the hotel reservation service Oktogo.ru, Minsk, Yerevan, Astana, Baku, Kiev, Bishkek, Chisinau, Almaty, Tashkent, and Vitebsk entered the top ten popular cities for traveling on November holidays in CIS.

Research was done on the basis of reservation from 1 to 4 November for Russian tourists traveling without the help of tour operators.

The most expensive cities in the CIS for living among Russians became Astana, but the most budget was Kishinev. For example, Russians pay for accommodation in a hotel in the middle of 7200 rubles per day (over $ 170) in Astana, and in Kishinev - 1500 rubles per day ($ 35).

In general, during 2014 the most popular countries of the CIS among travelers from Russia were Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova and Uzbekistan, according Norma.uz.
