Euronews Channel Airs Uzbekistan’s Tourist Potential

A preview trailer on the rich historical and cultural heritage, the picturesque nature and tourist infrastructure of our country is being aired on the Euronews TV channel starting from December 12.

The tourism sector has been dynamically advancing in our country under the leadership of President Islam Karimov. Travelers arriving in Uzbekistan have been growing in number. Uzbek companies have been active and enthusiastic in international tour exhibitions, travel fairs and festivals organized in many countries of the world.

Aiming to extensively demonstrate the tourist potential of Uzbekistan in the world and further increase the inflow of tourists, the Euronews channel has been broadcasting a trailer on the rich historical and cultural heritage, the picturesque nature and tourist infrastructure of our country. The TV channel enjoys a rather considerable audience; it broadcasts to 155 nations around the world in 12 languages.

According to Uzbekturizm National Company, the preview trailer envisages the display of sketches on historic cities of Uzbekistan – Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva and Shahrisabz. The TV commercial is produced in cooperation with the Euronews channel and the Austria-based company RocketMediaCommunications.

The action is expected to facilitate an extensive familiarization of the world community with the capacities of our travel industry and the further increase in the inflow of foreign tourists to our nation.
