Uzbekistan’s tourist potential presented in Tokyo

JATA Tourism Forum & Travel Showcase- 2013, an international tourism exhibition, opened in Tokyo on 12 September, where Uzbekistan's tourist potential has been widely presented.

Uzbekistan is among the top 10 leading countries in the world by the number of tourist and historical sites. All conditions, meeting the interests and needs of tourists are being created, geography and content of tourist routes are increasing. In particular, tourist actitivities such a historical-architectural, safari, rafting, ecotourism, archeological, ethnographic, agrotourism, sports-recreations, cultural tourism are actively promoted.

Aiming at promotion of tourist potential of the country Uzbekturizm national company cooperates with several international companies, takes part in exhibitions and fairs of global scale. The tourism exhibition in Japan is yet another opportunity to showcase tourist potential of Uzbekistan.

JATA Tourism Forum & Travel Showcase is one of the most prestigious international exhibitions. Repsentatives of over 1000 travel companies, experts and scientists take part in the event, held since 1977 and including all modern spheres in tourist industry.

According to Uzbekturizm representatives, a national stand of Uzbekistan surely gets the attention of visitors. The stand introduces the visitors with the nature, world-known historical monuments, national arts and traditions. Photoalbums, brochures and booklets on Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, Shahrisabz, Nukus and Andijan are to be distributed among the visitors.

Representatives of Uzbekturizm, Uzbekiston havo yullari, Uzbekistan temir yullari are taking part at the JATA Tourism Forum & Travel Showcase – 2013.
